I would like there to be some discussion on registering cloned horses. I personally see no problems. There are some horses who are just to valuable to their selected fields to ignore.
Bridleless western pleasure and Disciplined rail should be added to horse shows. These two classes show real difficulty and are fun classes.
In my humble opinion ,these foals should beable to compete and prove they are capeable as they did when the smaller, heavier muscled TB's were proved on sprinting tracks when there were none, many years ago. The Hybrid crosses are of impotance to keep the breed from deterioration of imbreeding... more »
Amateurs and Youth show exhibitors, non-related, should be able to share the same horse if shown in different classes and the rulebook should be updated to include that. Both riders should be able to compete at their respective Worlds (AQHYA and AQHA world shows)
to get more participation in halter classes, award one point to a horse after it has shown at 5 AQHA shows, except for Incentive Fund horses, and they must earn their own points but they will be more halter horses showing at shows so more points to be had.
it is almost impossible to find a show with many/any stallions. why not show with geldings in the local shows or in shows where less that 2 or 3 stallions are present, with stallions being discounted for breeding faults . I would think they would be judged on the same standard for conformation.
Since aqha changed the white line rule they should also change the rules and let solid color paint horses ne reg with the AQHA. Its only fair! I have 2 solid black yearlings only white is on there pasterns. To me there Quarter horses. What do u all think ?
Add a class for 4 year old halter geldings. Most 4 year old geldings are not mature enough to compete in the Aged Gelding Halter class. Adding this new class would keep more competitors showing halter and give them an opportunity to compete on equal grounds.
2.AQHA "Elite" would have different color papers
3.AQHA provides a course on responsible breeding and current trends in breeding, reproduction, equine slaughter, options for the unwanted etc..(Virtual education)
4. Reward/Acknowledge responsible breeding programs.

I haven't earned any AQHA pts in WP since 2001. WIth the changes to Novice Amateur status it would be nice to be considered a Rookie with no pts and not showing for 10 yrs. I think that is only fair considering all the other changes especially as I start showing again at 50 yrs old and with a physical disability.
This is a HUGE hindrance to exhibitors who, say showed as a successful youth exhibitor and then took several years off from showing to attend college and start a family. Now, if they want to re-introduce themselves to AQHA and start... more »
