Everyone knows a good Quarter Horse that isn't registered due to someone neglecting to register the parents. Why not have a process to register these horses.
In today's world where you can verify ownership online it is no longer necessary to require the original registration certificate to be presented in the horse show office. Remove this antiquated rule, please.
I know I am not the only person out there who has bought a horse that was registered once-upon-a-time with AQHA, but due to irresponsible owners and multiple transfers, the papers and information has been lost.
