AQHA Alternative Competition Program

I would love it if we could have an alternative competition program, like APHA's PAC program. This allows horses to earn alternative competition points when they are shown in smaller shows and shows that are not AQHA breed shows. Revise the Ranch Riding schedule at the 2015 Open World Show

The recently published tentative schedule for ranch riding (including junior, senior and amateur) requires anyone that wants to exhibit in all three of these classes to be at the show for nearly two weeks. That is not possible for those of us amateurs who work outside the horse industry. Please try to shorten this timing prior to finalizing the schedule. More Ranch Classes by 2016

I would like to suggest that AQHA seriously consider moving the implementation of the ranch rail and ranch trail classes up to 2016 if not sooner. The membership has made it very clear that they are very much in support of ranch classes. AQHA has a huge opportunity here. The membership is asking, no, begging for these classes. AQHA Points for Trail Challenge Placings

I think there should be regular show points awarded that go on your horses show record, for competing in the Trail Challenges. They should be like regular show points and count towards Year End awards, High Points and Championships.
