Require Shows to have points uploaded to the AQHA site within a week of the show ending or have their date fr that show compromised for next year. It is ridiculous that shows take a moth to even upload them to AQHA to even see the unofficial results. It makes it hard to keep track of qualifying points that way
we have come to the world show in OKC for over 20 yrs as spectators and we usually stay about 10 days. This show use to be so much FUN to attend, no so much anymore. Consider publishing a list of vendors that will be attending the AQHA World Shows and Novice Championship. It's helpful if attendees know which vendors are available before they arrive at the show grounds and can help attract locals to the show grounds.
AQHA should NOT announce horses and exhibitors names at all World show competitions. This was none more apparent than at this years 2014 youth world show, where many trainers children and overly publicized horses/exhibitors were making the finals with mediocre patterns and go's. Show department (and likely show manager) field many phone calls from members looking at the "Show Calendar" on AQHA website wanting more information about show which they could actually be getting from the AQHA Affiliates website, The AQHA Affiliate Website (or show website if show has one) is not listed just the show managers email.
